Printronix is announcing the end of sales of the T5000r and the SL5000r printers in EMEA. The T5000r and SL5000r have been replaced with the T5000r ENERGY STAR and the SL5000r ENERGY STAR models. All units shipped since 10th March, 2010 are the new ENERGY STAR Certified printers. Printronix will continue to provide service, support, spares and consumables for the T5000r and SL5000r for a minimum of 5 years. Printronix is ONLY manufacturer offering these Thermal Printers that are ENERGY STAR certified, delivering a product that is robust, flexible and reliable whilst meeting strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US governing bodies.
