The PowerMag reads and decodes up to three tracks of information with a single swipe in either direction. Keyboard and RS-232 interfaces are available. An adjustable beeper and multi-color LED indicator signal a successful read.
Edits and formats data.
The PowerMag can be programmed to divide, rearrange, edit, and validate fields of scanned data. In addition, it allows for up to 16 preamble or postamble characters.Supports bar code scanning.
By attaching an undecoded laser, CCD, wand, or slot scanner to a PowerMag with the optional bar code capability, the same unit can decode scanned bar code data, as well as read and decode magnetic stripe media.
